On Trade, France makes excellent wine, but so does the U.S. The problem is that France makes it very hard for the U.S. to sell its wines into France, and charges big Tariffs, whereas the U.S. makes it easy for French wines, and charges very small Tariffs. Not fair, must change!

Macron must not want any of that shitty Trump wine in his country.

I cannot wait for France to start dumping those expensive first growth wines into the US market for cheap.

Emmanuel Macron suggests building its own army to protect Europe against the U.S., China and Russia. But it was Germany in World Wars One & Two - How did that work out for France? They were starting to learn German in Paris before the U.S. came along. Pay for NATO or not!

if you've never read the saga of Trump purchasing the Kluge winery, it is really something. TL;DR - He cuts a deal with the son to buy a segment of land from the family trust for scraps with a backend payment that he later refuses to the point of sending the trust a bill for legal fees. That land blocks the mansion and makes it unsellable, thus it is purchased out of bankruptcy for a small percentage of its worth.

Very smart to be unscrupulous in twisting unrelated legalities to get the properties? Sure, maybe, if you view using various elements of vaguely, to unrelated laws to steal. In my mind it makes you am immoral shrewd criminal, but not in a legal sense.

Apparently, Trump was supposed to sit beside Putin at a dinner and they moved them to opposite ends of the table. So Trump wasn't able to get his marching orders. He probably has no idea what to do with himself, so he went into tweet mode.

I guess Napolitano has given up on getting his SCJ nomination since he is again defying DJT (Whitaker Appointment unlawful)

Good to see that Ocasio-Cortez put her youthful energy to work day one protesting in the offices of her own party leader. Had she stuck around and got arrested with the other protesters she would have a place to stay on the cheap while in D.C.

It's all well and good to be a political agitator, but for a newly elected member of Congress to participate in occupying the presumptive speaker's office strikes me as a pretty dumb move. I think running for Congress implies a willingness to play the game. And besides, Nancy is a damn effective political operator, and if Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez wants to actually achieve anything, should be trying to learn a few tricks from Nancy rather than chanting outside her office.

If you must protest, do it outside Tom Cotton's office or something.
