And as I sit stewing in last week’s loss, I am afraid I am finding what I have always sort of known: while I hate raising money, I actually love the process of campaigning, particularly the meeting people and working with a team and whatnot. I miss it.
Why am I thinking of these two things together? Because among my other character flaws I sometimes have intense delusions of grandeur.
