In a desperation play, I went to a Subway today for lunch. Some guy refused to pay the $6.48 for his sandwich, insisting he would only pay $4.28. He left without his sandwich and yet that wasn't the weirdest moment. The middle aged lady in front of me told the one employee to stop making her sandwich and "go work the register instead." She demanded the girl who was currently working the register to switch places. I turned around to gauge reaction from the line, but everyone had their head down glumly.

This sort of thing never happened when Jared was around. He may have screwed kids, but he maintained standards.
