I would imagine most people travel out of state.

so my brother, who is a heroin addict that stole/pawned family heirlooms, reached out because he's broke and didn't have money for basic things. I took a sick day yesterday to drive up to Pottstown and bring him Costco sized packages of paper towels, toilet paper and coffee. I also brought milk and some cans of soup. I don't know if I did the right thing, supporting him at all means more money for drugs and I know our mom would be mad if she found out I did anything for him. It's weird. Fuck heroin though.

Any choice seems like the wrong choice in those situations. Sucks.

Sorry, man. I hope that your brother can somehow, somewhere find the help that he needs.

I think how you supported him (buying the actual things instead of giving him money to “do the right thing”) is the best you could do in the situation.

Went to get a haircut today, and in the waiting area I was sitting directly next to a mom and her two young kids. The little girl, who was about 4, was on her mom’s lap, facing towards her, laughing and playing and then out of nowhere...BLAM! Pukes all over her mom and the floor. Somehow I didn’t get hit. It’s a Christmas miracle!

got these @#$% wisdom teeth yanked 11 days ago. Apparently one left a "bone fragment" which is irritating my tongue, making it difficult to eat, drink, swallow, or talk. And the sockets themselves are both still painful as @#$%. This was all supposed to clear up in a couple days. No end in sight, though. Saw the oral surgeon wednesday and poo-poo'd me, saying i'd be fine by christmas. not looking so good at this point.

I shoulda weighed myself, i'm probably down about 10 pounds.
