As a semi-aside, now that I'm taking in mom's mail I'm really disgusted by the level of propaganda disguised as pools that idiots send out these days. Especially targeting seniors. It's unscrupulous and immoral. And they all end with a plea for money to help fight against the atrocities they've just polled you about. I've actually filled out a few that had pre-paid reply envelopes, but I'm sure the extent of their looking at the return mail is just to see if a check falls out or if there's a credit card number scrawled in.

I worked with a woman who stuffed all prepaid return envelops to the gills, to make them more expensive. She bragged about it over email -- "gorilla marketing."
