Title is fine. Posters who try to be oh so clever are usually out to lunch with their confusing thread titles. As long as you have politics thread in the title it's all good.

I realize it's a new world we're living in, but "NATO leaders increase military spending contributions" or "NATO leaders decline to increase military spending contributions" seem like the kind of verifiable news stories we could all benefit from, instead of everyone getting to write their own stories.

Goodlatte just compared racial bias and political bias, which are on completely different levels of protections. I can never tell if these people are that dumb or know exactly what they're doing.

Agreed. He does have a bit of the Comey smugness to him, but I feel like he's running circles around the GOP questioning.

Mr. Duncan from Tennessee seems to agree with the presidental opinion that you need to be a supporter of his agenda to participate in an inquiry of him. What rubbish. I have the utmost respect for the idea that professionals can quarntine thier personal opinions to perform thier jobs, especially in institutions such as the FBI.

Goodlatte's success since capret bagging down from Massachuttes has been that of a firebrand as best I can tell, so he has tendencies to be stupid.

These hearings are a bit of a waste of time in the structure these are managed. Folks axe grinding and making brash, unsupported statements over questions with responses. Both sides are completely guilty. Barking acusations then quickly say things like 'I'm done with this whitness' is just stupidity on parade.

I don't know who this woman from Texas is (Lee?) but her line of questioning is excellent. Very well done. Basically did you (Strzok) do anything that caused the whole laundry list of things that have been proved that Trump, et al actually did (met with Russians, collude with Julian Assange, etc.)

There were a lot of questions and a lot of answers. If you were only seeing the highlight snippets, of course they would only show the heated bs from Goodlatte or Gowdy

FFS - some congressional douchebag was reading a list of special coucil staff that contributed to any democratic candidate, but did not contribute to Trump. I was mostly ignoring it until I head Dukakis! That is just insane.

The who scuffle between Crowley and Ocasio-Cortez is so petty. She is stating he is mounting a 3rd party campaign against him by being on the Working Family's Party ballot line even though that was the result of the primary and removing himself from it is not as simple as signing a piece of paper or sending a tweet. The two staffs have apparently had trouble to arrange communication between the two and Ocasio-Cortez decided to air the grievances on Twitter which is just inciting so many pointless reply fights.
