But also i assume the indictment wouldn't put a bombshell of 'sitting US Congressperson' in there.

During the campaign they're both technically candidates I believe, but if it were a sitting member you might expect to see incumbent

Which is what led me to Gaetz

I haven't been on Twitter this afternoon so it is possible this is already a hot theory, but I'll put $5 down on it being whoever the guy was who lost to Wasserman Schultz. It's the DNC that was hacked, so makes sense they'd have info on her, and it's a South Florida district right in Roger Stone's neck of the woods.

The DNC analytics were stolen by the Russians as part of the hack too. That plus stealing the voter information of over 500,000 by hacking the website of a state's board of elections (don't think it's known which state, or at least I don't think it's in the indictment) could really have swung the election in Trump's favor if he was given this information.

Anotehr thing I keep seeing from Journalists and experts in the area is how we have the inability to treat cyber hacking and leaking for what it is - theft. If Russian goons broke into the DNC and Podesta's house and took this sensitive information it would be a major incident that could incite war.

Joseph Kaufman, ran a very anti-Muslim campaign and even spoke alongside Stone at a Trump rally

I was thinking the Republican since it was mid-August, but a google search shows their primary wasn't until August 30th, so I guess it could be either the GOPer or Canova.

True but basically reading your name in an indictment would probably still cause you to shit your pants, at least initially.

Right. I just wonder if it was a sitting congressperson now they'd add that detail like 'then candidate, now congressperson'.

I regret this is quite unfounded.

The explanation for this canard is that Trump is pronoid.

Dana Rohrbacher (pro-Russian), Devin Nunes (that stupid)

It also shows that Trump could have easily gotten the idea to do suit or that someone else was monkeying their Presidential candidate... or it could be a coincidence, or a Democrat, or an Independent. A lot to speculate, but nothing known until the indictment of said individual.

Nunes did leave the hearings early yesterday.

But I hope it's not him. He'll be indicted for a bunch of other stuff. I want one of the other assholes.

:(

QUETTA, Pakistan (Reuters) - A suicide bomber killed 128 people at an election rally in southwestern Pakistan in the second election-related attack on Friday, officials said, amid growing tensions over ousted prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s return ahead of the July 25 vote.
The bombing was the most deadly attack in Pakistan in over three years and is the third incident of election-related violence this week.

It came as Pakistan’s caretaker government launched a crackdown on political gatherings. Sharif, who was ousted by the Supreme Court last year and convicted in absentia of corruption a week ago, arrived in the country to rally his party ahead of the general elections.

Baluchistan Home Minister Agha Omer Bangulzai told Reuters that the death toll in the attack had risen to 128 people, with over 150 wounded.

Senior police official Qaim Lashari had earlier said that more than 1000 people were in attendance at the rally in the town of Mastung in the violence-plagued province of Baluchistan.

Islamist militants linked to the Taliban, al Qaeda and Islamic State have been operating in the province, which borders Iran as well as Afghanistan. It also has an indigenous ethnic Baluch insurgency fighting the central government.

Islamic State claimed responsibility for the attack, the group’s AMAQ news agency said. The group provided no further detail or evidence for its claim.

candidate killed:
In the assault, Nawabzada Mir Siraj Khan Raisani, 55, a candidate for the provincial assembly, had just arrived at a campaign gathering in a town in the district of Mastung when a suicide bomber detonated his explosives.

Mr. Raisani, who was among those killed, was a candidate of the Baluchistan Awami Party, a newly formed group that is seen as being backed by the Pakistani military.

Lashkari Raisani, the elder brother of the candidate who was killed, blamed the military for not doing enough to curb the violence. “The state should stop its double game,” he said. “It should go after all militant groups. We have blood everywhere.”

Mastung has a history of deadly sectarian and militant violence. Mr. Raisani escaped a bombing in the district in 2011, when an explosion ripped through a prize ceremony after a soccer match. He was unhurt, but his teenage son and 24 other people were killed.

Last year, Abdul Ghafoor Haideri, a senior politician, escaped an assassination attempt in Mastung when his convoy was targeted in an explosion. Mr. Haideri survived with injuries, but at least 25 other people were killed in the attack that was also claimed by the Islamic State. In the past, extremist Sunni groups in the district have targeted Shiite pilgrims making their way to Iran.
