I saw that. We've already had a life time of stupid and loud in the office, we do not need him. I also think that statement undermines his clients as it validates those who say his actions and time in the news cycle is really just all about him.

I am really disappointed that I am the first to post this here with all you libtard atomotons.

Septuagenarius Viktor and Amalija Knavs were sworn-in as U.S. citizens Thursday through chain migration. Melania Trump was the sponsor for her parents. An AP report notes that the Knavses "slipped in and out of a side entrance at a Manhattan federal building flanked by Department of Homeland Security police." Just like every other immigrant attaining citizenship.

I honestly would not give a rats ass if not for this:

CHAIN MIGRATION cannot be allowed to be part of any legislation on Immigration!

This administrations emboldening of Saudi Arabia is probably the most dangerous thing they're doing and it seems no one gives a shit. Guess it's a good way to backdoor yourself into a war with Iran.

I think you are overstating JU. I think I might say that all the other unreal bullshit is distracting Americans from real issue, and what will be enduring problems for the nation.

Good luck to all of humanity tomorrow in DC. The Nazis are already completely deranged, and the counter protestors will be plenty pissed off enough to step up with violence.

Well, all that talk about what its all about seems rather misplaced now doesn't it. Also, there was an administration meeting on criminal justice reform recently. I guess only Kim Kardashian can carry this messaging to Trumps ears.

According to Fast Company, the EPA’s recently released report detailing its new framework for evaluating the risk of its top prioritized substances states that the agency will “no longer consider the effect or presence of substances in the air, ground, or water in its risk assessments.”

This news comes after the EPA reviewed its first batch of 10 chemicals under the 2016 amendment to the 1976 Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA), which requires the agency to continually reevaluate hundreds of potentially toxic chemicals in lieu of removing them from the market or placing new restrictions on their use. The SNUR greenlights companies to use toxic chemicals like asbestos without consideration about how they will endanger people who are indirectly in contact with them.

Asbestos was widely used in building insulation up until it was completely banned in most countries in the 1970s. The U.S. severely restricted its use without completely outlawing it. As Fast Company covered, the Asbestos Disease Awareness Organization (ADAO) revealed in April that asbestos-related deaths now total nearly 40,000 annually, with lung cancer and mesothelioma being the most common illnesses in association with the toxin.

Trump testified before Congress that he thinks the World Trade Center might be standing if they had asbestos

I hate the EPA decision, but it's articles like this that twist the facts that make people dismiss what they read.

Headline is: "EPA is now allowing asbestos back into manufacturing"

No. The EPA has not approved or allowed a single use in manufacturing.

Quote from the article is:

"the agency will “no longer consider the effect or presence of substances in the air, ground, or water in its risk assessments.”

Which makes it sound like the Agency will simply ignore the pre-existing dangers of asbestos, and that these factors will not affect their decision. No, any previous use will still be under exactly the same guidelines as before, and any new uses will take into consideration the effect on the air, ground or water. However, each application for new use will be considered independently, and previous effects of asbestos involving different manufacturing uses will not be considered. this is troubling, but far different.

In short, the article makes it appear at first glance that the EPA had given the go-ahead to resume using asbestos in manufacturing processes, and they have not. The real story about the revision of EPA processes is troubling enough, and certainly there's a potential for asbestos to be reintroduced, and that's worrying as well. But articles like this do a disservice. It's possible to have a POV and still write for an architectural site. I'd just prefer that they attempt not to sensationalize it.

the effect of this change is to allow asbestos to be used again. a 'nudge' is a known way to effect policy and behavior. it's a small way that makes it easier for companies to use asbestos since asbestos was never actually banned in the US and the way its used stopped was through the EPA considering it toxic and counting it in their evaluations.

Oh, I must have read it wrong. What are they allowing asbestos to be used for?
