Yup. Which is pretty insane that it's a possibility. Seat for life if he wasn't a pussy.

If he wins this year, I think his time is up in 2024 with Texas' changing demographics and a Presidential election at the top of the ballot. Maybe that's wishful thinking though.

The former HR recruiter for my department is one of Scott Pruitt's most trusted advisors now.

https://www.axios.com/newsletters/axios ... cc633.html

Over the last few months, Pruitt has walled himself off from all but five EPA political appointees: Millan Hupp, Sarah Greenwalt, Hayley Ford, Lincoln Ferguson, and Wilcox. Of those five, only Wilcox is over 30. Hupp, Greenwalt and Ferguson came with Pruitt from Oklahoma. Wilcox is the only press aide Pruitt appears to trust.

No idea how she made that career transition.

Not anybody. Pledging allegiance to Trump and having a relatively untroubled social media presence with regard to Mr. Trump I think are the two important boxes to check.

Yeah that's more what I meant.

Read an article recent about the 24 year old kid who became a deputy director and how he just wanted to have a career from here on out after he got fired because he's a piece of shit. Hope they all never work again tbh.

Cramer +4 in ND in a decent poll. One pickup means Dems need to sweep NV/AZ/TN and hold serve elsewhere to flip things. If I was betting money straight up I'd take Hawley as well (and Blackburn).

If Hillary had won the conversation would be about us pushing for a filibuster proof majority, meanwhile the GOP is sweating Senate races in North Dakota, Missouri and Tennessee. The winning, it gets so tiresome.

I only know one person in the administration, and it's a friend of a friend type thing. When I see him in person it's hard not to ask how exactly do you do this every day of your life? On the one hand he appears worn down, on the other, he has very much adopted a siege mentality to a lot of the negativity that surrounds the admin and not sure he thinks his position is righteous and fighting on the side of the good, but clearly sees the negatives as overhyped and media driven #fakenews nonsense.

Guy worked for normal Republicans before this, but skipped a few steps on the ladder in taking his current position because so few professional Republicans were willing to go into the administration. Maybe it'll work out for him. Actually it probably will. But man can't imagine the first few pages of google results about my name being whatever his are gonna be for the next decade.

Blackburn is garbage. I have no idea anything about who is running against her, but she is one of the few professional politicians I have met and she is horrible. Way over played her hand given her actual capability, but actually she is rather dim. She was either completely bored by why she had people at her office, or she just had not comprehension of a pretty simple workflow. She seemed really confused by a simple logic tree (inspect digital information, if information valid then green light, if suspect then red light start forensic inspection for separate forensic investigator).

Phil Bredesen is a popular, former Governor of Tennessee. Corker has basically stated he won't campaign against him because they're friends (I also don't think Corker and Blackburn get along). He would most likely be the typical Red State Democrat. A thorn in the side on a lot of issues, but should be counted on for the bigger issues. Who knows though, probably JH (or Google).

Sorry about your retirement. That extra $200B of proposed tariffs is rocking the markets. I guess we know why trump 'got out of the market'** before he became president.

He likes to see enemies where there are no enemies and space is full of no enemies.

There is also an illegal aliens joke in there somewhere but I can't put it together.

He is catching up on Marvel movies and saw the first avengers movie with the Chitauri army beating down Manhattan. Then he caught Ragnarok on Netflix and dug how Strange rolled up Thor and Loki to protect earth from off planet visitors. Maybe a little Nova Corps in there too. #SpaceForce!
