Were Sizzler restaurants ever a thing in PA? It's a big chain of cheap steakhouses out west. The one in my hometown closed up 20-odd years ago due to an E Coli outbreak if memory serves.

I hurt my knee playing basketball today. Hope this isn't a portent of things to come in my 30s.

Starting to feel kind of exhausted with all the sportz lately. Things are definitely a little different when you're 27, but I feel like I'm trying to make the time I had when I was 15. Between the Eagles, Sixers and Flyers runs over the last month and a half or so it's been a hell of a lot of fun to watch but it's weird to think how easy life could be when you're younger. Wish there was more time in the day!

Exhausted of the schedule I guess and trying to find the time to watch while still worrying about general life stuff. Not everyone has been this good at the same time in basically forever! It's a nice problem to have I guess. A few years ago I wouldn't have felt bad about missing the Sixers' 58th loss of the season, but now I feel like I'm missing out if I don't watch.

In high school, I had detention once and football practice after, there were several other kids on the football team in there as well so we all sat at the same table. One kid, who was not the brightest bulb, had a jar of rubber cement and was going to town on it. He found a paper bag (detention was in the cafeteria) and poured like half the jar into the bag and really went at it. When detention was over we were walking to practice he was all loopy and said his lungs felt like they were full of glue (go figure). Then as we walking, we came up on a gate blocking a driveway on campus, it was about hip high and just a simple metal tubing style of gate, he decided he was going to hurdle it. So he runs up and jumps and his back foot clipped the top of the metal tubing and he went face first into the driveway. Busted up his nose, and got road rash all over his face. Moral of the story, if you are gonna huff rubber cement, don't try to hurdle things.

two things my parents never let me do until I was an adult... sit in the 700 level at an eagles game or take me to chuck e cheese's. probably both excellent decisions in parenting.
