Given the prior discussion, please tell me I wasn't the only one that thought AZ was going to list huffing cement glue as one of the two things.

Actually I was pretty sure that's what they did instead of going to Blockbuster on Friday night.

There used to be a Sizzler in King of Prussia at the same location where the Sullivan's Steakhouse is today.

Been there. May have been a sizzler in Montgomeryville too. I remember my first sight of one out west, telling my ex that it was better than ponderosa and the golden corral COMBINED! That was a mistake. My second mistake was going there a second time about five years ago thinking that was an off day.

Sizzler was the ponderosa the rich folks ate at. You would see Cadillacs, BMWs, and Mercedes, in the parking lot. Now if you want a good steak the rich people go to the Ruth Chris's Steakhouse place. Went there 2 weeks ago I dropped $75 and all I could do was reminisce about the times I was 12 years old eat at The Sizzler and remembering the good old times

My extended family owns a local business and is very in-your-face religious. I was recently stuck in their waiting room for a good portion of the day, and I forgot to bring earbuds. Christian pop is really something.
Fine. You wanna act like you're two? I'll act like I'm one.

hopefully they are good people 1. You don't come across many of the fanatical types anymore. we all know the one's that are so self righteous, all knowing and jam their opinion down your throat constantly. You can even believe but that's never quite good enough unless it's done to the letter of the law with no questioning. never understood that approach to conversion, you would think it would do more harm than good. wonder where they all went? maybe they found another hobby.

i think i could have phrased that better. they don't actively try to convert, but they do have jesus stuff hanging all about the room and a bunch of pamphlets and other paraphernalia in addition to the christian music. i mean, it's cool, it's their business and they do great work.

Dang, I just learned I was pretty close to a made-for-tv-movie story.

One of my dad's first cousins died about 2 years ago a left a 'substantial' estate. A lawyer was tasked with finding heirs since she had no kids and no known relatives. So he contacted one of my second cousins a couple years ago as part of his search. At that time, the lawyer said that if no other first cousins were still alive, then the estate would be split between all her cousin's kids (of which I am one). But they found three other first cousins- all late 80's/early 90s'- (one of whom just died two weeks ago)- and they split it three ways.

Still not sure how much is was, but apparently pretty huge. The estate lawyer's first overture to my cousin was to tell him NOT to sign with a law firm from Salt Lake City who apparently was trying to track down heirs and act on their behalf. Had to be megabucks for someone to start bird dogging it like that. No idea where they got the money. Their house was an ordinary suburban house in Springfield. And her husband died in 2010 at the age of 90 while shoveling snow. So it seems like they didn't like to spend money either.

Also did I mention this is my father's mother's side. She died in 1941. I have never ever met anyone on that side of the family. I found one of my second cousins on ancestry dot com and her brother sent me a friend request. So he just contacted me via FB and I called him and he told me the whole story. He's sending me the 20 page genealogy report that the estate lawyer put together.

If you are going to the flower show, make sure to hit the fine wine and good spirits tasting area in the Grand Hall area (across from the chicken coop). Tons of free tastings from local and outside distilleries and wineries.

The flowers were pretty, too.
