Burlington County NJ election night reporting is embarrassing. I should move home and primary the county clerk.

A number of GOP held leg seats are close, with Jennifer Beck, who is one of the good ones, looking like she's going down in Monmouth County. On the one hand not surprising if the GOP loses seats in the state tonight given Trump & Christie's unpopularity, but on the other it was already at a pretty low ebb in the legislature.

Sweeney is up about 60-40 with about half of the precincts in.

forget what i said earlier about my taxes decreasing with the new plan. I'd get slammed. I mistook "standard deduction" for "personal exemption". And the personal exemption would be totally eliminated. @#$%.

Awesome, where are you seeing results? We had a really contentious school board election and I wanna find out how it’s going.

Friend told me. He was doing a write in for council alongside three others who were on the ballot. I know if you Google Chester county election results you can find a decent site that way.

Good luck to her!

Thanks, I’ve been looking and haven’t found any results. The PA site has the property tax amendment vote at 54% yes right now.

Our local school elections are fighting over building a new middle school and doing a renovation to join the current middle school and high school into the a high school. There’s been a lot of growth in the area and the schools are over crowded but there’s a strong minority of older residents that are making it out that it’s going to raise taxes and force them out of their homes. The tax increase will be ~$100/yr for most folks and one of the biggest selling points for this area is the schools. I posted a video on my fb today of someone ripping down campaign signs on land that is not his, advocating for the people who want the school expansion, it’s stupid nuts.

Democrat Chris Hurst, a former television journalist whose girlfriend was shot on live television, was elected to Virginia's House of Delegates on Tuesday.

The Associated Press declared Hurst the winner over Republican Joseph Yost in what was one of the state's most expensive House of Delegates campaigns.

Hurst spent six years as a reporter for WDBJ-TV where he met Alison Parker, a 24-year-old reporter shot and killed during a live broadcast in 2015.

Good for him, and good for Virginia...

Donald J. Trump‏ @realDonaldTrump
Ed Gillespie worked hard but did not embrace me or what I stand for. Don’t forget, Republicans won 4 out of 4 House seats, and with the economy doing record numbers, we will continue to win, even bigger than before!
