We all learn a lot from this thread. I think most of us don’t act like it makes a big difference if it exists.

So this Papadopoulos guy listed the Cyprus-based International Presidential Business Advisory Council on his resume as being one of his affiliations.....

Contacted about this listing in August, the head of the organization, John Georgoulas, told TPM that “Papadopoulos is NOT a member of IPBAC, never was and we have never worked together.”

His claim to membership, Georgoulas added, was “weird and not true!”

well, given the Cyprus banking stuff, this could be interesting. Maybe he was padding his resume, but it sure is odd that he would coincidentally list that group. And the denial from the group is just classic Trump. May be some stuff for Mueller to unpack there.

Trump may have guaranteed life in prison for the terrorist attack in NYC

Donna Brazile drags DWS and Hillary (and Obama's neglect of the DNC)

it's quite a piece. It looks like I was completely wrong about the Victory Fund last year and others on here were correct. The DNC is in dire straits and the years of mismanagement and Wasserman-Schultz is to blame, with Hillary taking advantage. the smoking gun:
When the party chooses the nominee, the custom is that the candidate’s team starts to exercise more control over the party. If the party has an incumbent candidate, as was the case with Clinton in 1996 or Obama in 2012, this kind of arrangement is seamless because the party already is under the control of the president. When you have an open contest without an incumbent and competitive primaries, the party comes under the candidate’s control only after the nominee is certain. When I was manager of Gore’s campaign in 2000, we started inserting our people into the DNC in June. This victory fund agreement, however, had been signed in August 2015, just four months after Hillary announced her candidacy and nearly a year before she officially had the nomination.

I've been wrong to defend a fair primary. I feel like a fool, in all honesty. She got more votes fair and square, but the funding was not fair, the agreement wasn't fair, and the chair openly taking sides was not fair. I apologize to all on this board for defending this bullshit. The Clintons need to go away. Period. We can't move on until then.

I am particularly concerned that he called him an animal. That's deliberate dehumanization and could lead to some very very ugly things. Is there any doubt what the man would do if we let him?

This seems like another issue that was known, but not received (I didn't know either). She announced in April 2015, and by August 2015 she had already come to an agreement with four states (NH, WI, VA, and MS). I'm still reading the Politico article, but it seems like this is just another instance of the Clinton's being shrewd at the detriment of others. It makes them excellent politicians, but also susceptible to many of the attacks that Bernie and Trump levied.

I think I'd want to see a bunch of the source documents (or really have other reporters look at them and tell me what they say and what effect they had). It obviously stinks on the surface though.

Papadopoulos was just a low level bag man shifting funds for Russians between Cypriot banks, dual citizens, foreign offshore accounts, and people who needed to be paid <ding, ding, ding>.

DOJ identified six Russian government officials involved in the hacking. Would be something if they're charged.

wow, I guess Clinton and the Dems' reach is far! Can't believe they tossed the election just to do this to poor Donnie; and they even if used the DOJ while he's in charge to do it!

Go Magnitski Act on them and freeze all their assets we have access to.

As an aside, I really hope Germany and some of the other European nations that are tied to Russia due to energy and other resources back us up with this stuff. NATO could send some serious hurt at Russia if we all stopped buying their oil and natural gas. I realize it's not that simple, but it sure would be great.
