Yeah, some parts got me pretty bad. It was very Iannucci.

I liked this movie!

Have to admit, I didn't like this much at all. Not sure why it is when you put a cowboy hat on someone they have to suddenly intone pronouncements and aphorisms (while looking off into the distance) in a style that has never escaped human lips at any time in history. And don't get me started on the Native Americans. I found the final showdown preposterous-yeah, I know it hearkens back to lots of other movie scenes, but I've grown really tired of movies that are more based on life as experienced in films than reality. Scenery was beautiful, the actors did as good a job as can be expected with the lines they were given and it was pretty well put together as a whole, so not a waste of time, but not a strong recommendation.

Sleepless is a bad movie but it is short and to the point!

I suspended a shitload of disbelief for the movie. Mostly bc the bad guys just acted in the dumbest fucking way possible.

Oh yeah, I can see enjoying it that way. It was well staged and put together. As you can imagine, I'm tons of fun at parties.

Peter Rabbit was a little dark

They do that in all movies. I guess it makes the screen show up better.

Brawl in Cell Block 99 was a strange movie. Can't say I'd watch it again. Really slow but the last hour was pretty interesting.

The Commuter was fine. The person was so obvious.

Rampage was fun. The rock is the best

A Quiet Place was really well done. Enjoyed it.

Did my yearly viewing of Field of Dreams. Gets better every time. Kevin Costner is one of my favorite actors ever. He's so effortlessly great in everything.

My 12 year old daughter was watching Field of Dreams in school Friday... she knew more details than I did... of course teacher showed the first half and then said they weren't going to watch anymore

Didn't love Hitman's Bodyguard or The Greatest Showman though the rest of my family think TGS was awesome

Maybe this should go in the "Unpopular takes" thread, but I think Costner is a terrible actor.
