Good Keanu Reeves day. Bill and Ted 3 was confirmed and John Wick: Parabellum started filming

(Parabellum is Latin for Prepare For War omggggg yesss)

Wouldn't of predicted Shattered Glass would become my all-time 'I'll never not watch this when it's on' film, but here we are

I never did that. If I see that A Few Good Men is on TNT, I'm not watching that. I will turn on Vudu and watch from the beginning. I hear The Rewatchable Pod people always talking about that, but I always prefer watching the entire movie

I re-watched the first Rocky the other day and then started going through the rest of the series. Rocky IV was bad enough I lost motivation to watch Rocky V. Maybe I'll check out Rocky Balboa

I've seen Rocky, most of the Russian one, and Rocky Balboa.

I think the series jumped the shark with the robot sidekick in III. Not sure why I kept watching after that

Rocky is a very different movie than the sequels. You realize in 3 there's no way he's a heavy weight. He looks tiny throughout that movie.

They completely pretend like 5 didn't happen in Rocky Balboa. Good call there.

Creed is exceptional and if you disagree then you are wrong

Thought Creed was way over the top with the lame Philadelphia fan service stuff.

Having watched the early trailer like 6 times now, I am so pumped for the Freddy Mercury bio pic Bohemian Rhapsody coming out in November with Rami Malek (who again based on the trailer seems perfectly cast...). Queen maybe more than just about any other band should work well on the big screen.

Queen is my all time favorite band (screw you Slowhand), but I have low expectations.

It seems to me if you go from Sasha Baron Cohen to Remi Malik, you're making some real changes in the movie. Given that Malik didn't start work on the film until 2016, and they also brought in a new director, the movie that got made is completely different from whatever they set out to make in 2010. From what I've read, it's going to be closer to a tribute film, de-emphasizing the darker aspects of Mercury's life, which makes sense given that the surviving members of Queen are heavily involved in it the movie.
