Yeah, that would be just great. WTF

I wonder how long Trump has to hold office before people blame him for a terrorist attack? Few people say Bill Clinton had any responsibility for 9/11, it seems to be generally accepted that 9/11 happened on Bush's watch. Of course, the immediate fall out of 9/11 was a surge in Bush's popularity, which allowed him to start two rather pointless and stupid wars, but not nearly as pointless and stupid as one(s) Trump might start, so I don't think anyone should be rooting for a terrorist attack at all.

I hope you don't think I'm hoping for a terrorist attack. The terrorist attack is going to happen. There is no way Trump can stop terrorism. When it does happen, it will be good to point out that Trump doesn't follow through on his ridiculous promises. Anyway, it's more the collection of stupid promises he'll make than this terrorism example.

Him making impossible promises isn't going to change reality and it will help people see him as the fraud he is. I am not saying I wish bad things to happen.

Hey, we are just following the Mitch McConnell playbook. Party before country.

McConnell actively was working for Obama to fail. All I'm saying is that he WILL fail at promises like this one, so he shouldn't be saying them. His followers think he can walk on water. They will soon see that he can't. Noting that he can't stop terrorism isn't hoping he will fail, it's just recognizing reality.

I don't understand the "GIVE HIM A CHANCE!" crowd. Either he does what he says and he'll be awful, or he WON'T do what he says and we (the LIBURL ELEAT) may find him palatable but the persons urging the chance will hate him.

Don't like that he is our President but he is... I guess I am just going to hope for the best and that he surprises even his biggest critics more so than stupid stuff he says that will lead to "I told you so".

thanks. I don't want people to think I want to see people blown up. I thought mcconnell's comment was one of the worst things I heard in obama's 8 years.

i'm more concerned with the power that is now bestowed upon the monsters around him thanks to his win than the buffoon himself.

It's not so I can say "I told you so." It's so his supporters will realize he's a con man and won't vote for him again. I'm also hoping dems can win back enough senate seats in 2018 to actually investigate what will surely be a long list of questionable activities. Me saying "I told you so," will make no difference to anyone anywhere.

This is me. IRL - I'm not the type of person to laugh in people's faces and say 'I told you so.' The focus needs to be 2018 with eyes on 2020, his supporters will soon find out he is exactly who we all thought he was.

My mom's side of the family are absolutely delighted, thank god I rarely see them anymore.

What does that have to do with Trump lying to the American people?

He said he could have continued to run his "big, beautiful company" as POTUS but decided to focus on running the country instead.

Classic Trump: telling mouthbreathers what they want to hear and then doing whatever the fuck he wants.

Your reading was similar to how others read it, so it was obviously my bad. I should have been more careful with something like that.

2018 is a blue bloodbath in the senate. House might be in play.

These next 23 months are going to be so brutal that anyone with an (R) next to their name is going to be target practice, figuratively of course. The GOP holding the Senate is not a forgone conclusion.
