“Being a great president has to do with a lot of things, but one of them is being a great cheerleader for the country,” Trump said. “And we’re going to show the people as we build up our military, we’re going to display our military.

“That military may come marching down Pennsylvania Avenue. That military may be flying over New York City and Washington, D.C., for parades. I mean, we’re going to be showing our military,” he added.

“I think they have to feel it,” Trump acknowledged. “Being a cheerleader or a salesman for the country is very important, but you still have to produce the results.”

“Honestly, you haven’t seen anything yet. Wait till you see what happens, starting next Monday,” he said. “A lot of things are going to happen. Great things."

the truth comes out in an interview with WaPo, Trump wants to do Medicaid block grants to the states, which would cut insurance for millions of people.

I'm pretty mad about DeVos and I have no kids, nor will it affect me in any way. Can't imagine how mad I'm going to be about Pruitt.

and Zinke!

I like national parks and protected land. wonder what it means for those people who wanted that wilderness in Maine to become a park. I know there was a good bit of back and forth, but I am assuming the people who were pro-park have no shot now.

A cynic is left to wonder if the "displaying" of our military is meant to deter foreign enemies or domestic dissenters?

Branson might have a better lineup this weekend:
The final tally has Jackie Evancho, Lee Greenwood, 3 Doors Down, Toby Keith, the Piano Guys, DJ Ravidrums, the Frontmen of Country, and Jon Voight performing at the inauguration festivities this weekend.

Alexander pre-emptively lamely excuses the whitewash Price's hearing will be by citing the # of question rounds for previous HHS nominees, forgetting that those were qualified nominees of relatively sane President-elects
