Wish Riley Cooper was that good.

Took my dog to the vet today. They've led me to believe she has some sort of liver ailment. I'm squeezin my puppy pretty hard today.

2 days of liquidy diaherra and now vomitting from my pup. Anyone have any advice on treatments? Vet closed til Monday. He's otherwise fine, very jovial, high energy, playful, etc.

Yep this has happened a couple times to my guy and I just give him nothing but water for 24 hours, then boiled ground chicken/beef/turkey and white rice in place of his usual food for a few days.

Probably should call an emergency vet just to be on the safe side

yeah find an emergency vet pronto. a day or two can be critical if it's serious.

also if you've paid your vet money before they should answer emails/the phone

threw up nothing but bile a few hours ago. thinking the blood was an anomaly. talked with my vet and she thinks as long as he's acting normally otherwise, it's unlikely to be an emergency. no food/limited water for 24 hours. then chicken and some sweet potato. very small amounts. see how he reacts.

just odd; he's been sick 2 times over the past 5 years, one of which was kennel cough after we volunteered onsite at a local SPCA event.

Blood work normal. Vet gave him some meds and advised no food for another 12 hours. My dog was not pleased when that suggestion was dropped on em
