We had blood drawn two days ago and he had a dangerously low platelet count. The vet said it was likely do to cancer, internal bleeding or a brain bleed. His eyes were clouding up as well.
We had to put him down. Only two and half years old. Spent the last 10 minutes weeping uncontrollably. He was my present from my wife to me when I was promoted to Lieutenant Colonel. Was the best dog I had up until the last month, he was velcro to my leg wherever I went.
