I know the discussion was a couple of pages ago, but I wholeheartedly support separate spoiler filled and non-spoiler threads. It make sense to have a spoiler free thread to discuss stuff surrounding the movie (and the franchise in general) without talking about the specific plot elements in TFA.

The general vibe I get is that TFA is entertaining and fun with a variety of elements (humor, drama, action) without being groundbreaking cinema. I'm totally cool with that; I just want to walk out of the theater having been entertained. Have tickets for Sunday and if it seems okay for them, I'll take my kids in a week or two.

I'm actually kinda surprised it is scoring as high as it is with the critics. (I've avoided specific reviews, just looking at thumbs up/down stuff.)

I just got Spotify premium and they have the Star Wars soundtracks. I might just listen to that all day.

Can this movie realistically be better than Guardians of the Galaxy?

First non-terrible seats I could get are Monday @ 7:10. That will teach me for waiting until sun up the night after general availability.

Friend got tickets for the wrong night months ago and just found out, he is so pissed. I guess he is going to try to buy tickets now from someone, I guess some people will sell them if they are offered enough money?

Tell him to check fandango, I'm sure he can find some for tonight if he doesn't mind what time he goes.
