Like I said, at some point, you have to be able to talk about the new Star Wars movie in the Star Wars thread, or else there is no point to having one.

I also said it's not a big deal... it's just dumb. Spoiler phobia is the worst. How hard is it to not click on the Star Wars thread if you want to avoid spoilers?

again, this is for all star wars stuff, not just this movie. there is stuff to talk about outside the movie, so posting in the other thread that was created last night is not a big deal

That was literally Jamie's first post in this entire thread--to complain about being spoiled in the thread because he has to wait two weeks before seeing the movie.

Yeah, I know. It's stupid. I've said a few times that it's really not a big deal. It's just a weird part of internet culture that I don't get. Seems like saying "hey let's agree not to post spoilers for a few days" is more than enough.

But most of us can't see the movie til later, and there will still be things not related to the movie to post in here, so it makes sense.

I don't believe that and never claimed that. My point is that there won't be anything new to read this weekend. The movie is it.

I'm annoyed that the complaints are coming from people who haven't suggested any interest in the subject matter until now--that's all that I meant by that statement. Whatever, maybe my cold is making me irritable this morning.

I'm still curious as to when the moratorium gets lifted then. Or is that too ridiculous of a question, The Dude?
