i think toronto's upper management realized it would be dumb to let a guy they are going to fire trade the team's most valuable player

is he trying to say all the rumors out there about the phillies turning down the jays are false?

is this for real?As trade negotiations between the Phillies and Toronto continued yesterday, the Phillies were trying to steer the Blue Jays toward a package led by pitcher Carlos Carrasco, infielder Jason Donald and others in their attempt to acquire Roy Halladay, sources with knowledge of the negotiations said.
The Phillies spurned a deal that included Kyle Drabek, J.A. Happ and Dominic Brown, as suggested by the Blue Jays The Phillies do not want to trade both Drabek and Happ.
Drabek, a 21-year-old righthander, is the club's top pitching prospect. Brown, 21, is regarded as the top position player in the Phillies' system. Happ, a 26-year-old rookie, is 7-1 after suffering his first loss of the season Friday night.
The negotiating process for Halladay is still in the early stages, the sources said.

No. Whoever wrote this is an idiot. Just give up Drabek and Happ and get it done. I'm going to hate Happ to an irrational level if this doesnt go through because they dont want to give him up

Well, in the past I think I've seen you say that you would bring Drabek up and have him work out of the pen later in the year. What's the true difference between him and Knapp? I'm not saying long-term experience for Knapp, maybe a game or two just to give him a taste.
