Was part of the gritty, scrappy coaching staff out in the Arizona desert. Don't know how well the grit transfers to the D. C. Area as it is very humid there in the summer.

I guess I posted about this somewhere else, that he was a knucklehead as a player and will probably continue to be one as a a manager. Not that that's ever really hurt a manager.

But don't look at me for consensus. I'm sort of a maverick, as I'm sure you've noticed.

It's been mentioned elsewhere on the board but Bryce Harper being benched for lack of hustle probably deserves being preserved here as well.

Inconceivable!

He was replaced by Kevin Frandsen, who grounded out to third with the tying run in scoring position in the ninth inning. The Nationals lost to the Cardinals 4-3.

one report i heard says he's been nursing a sore hammy or something like that. if so, i don't want my franchise player sprinting to first on a grounder to the pitcher. sometimes you gotta take the Pyrrhic loss. or somethin' like that.

Then they should bench his lazy hammy and probably fine it. Damn hammy.

The Nats are in the market for a young SS after Desmond rejected a 7/$98M extension ( :really: )
