I never even learned to spell Grullon's first name right. He had a good year last year at LHV. Could he not catch?

Yeah, I thought they were high on him.

he probably asked for his release as he saw himself blocked. i knew they were high on him years ago and then when his bat caught up with his glove they left him unprotected. scouty types complained about slow feet both on the basepaths and behind the plate and a slow bat. kind of a mystery. i thought he was a borderline starter/bench guy.

$4.5 million, not sure there's any level of heroics that would trigger that expense next year

I believe there is a $250,000 buyout.

Think marchan has to be protected this offseason. Probably weren’t going to be able to keep both.

Surprised Deivy is the one chosen in the numbers crunch. If they sign JT I thought we might see Knapp leave and Grullon as the backup next year.

Hope Phelps brings his new found control with him.

I mean, he's only 24. At age 24 Ruiz was slugging .337 at Reading.

Ramey was a 2018 30th-rd pick that signed out of HS for $125K. He was in GCL last year

Puello was a $460K international signing in 2017 from the Dominican Republic. He was in DSL last year

Geraldo was another 2017 Dominican signing. He was in GCL last year

I thoroughly expect them to become Maddux, Glavine, Smoltz in eight years or so.
