on postgame they were talking about how hoskins has made a concentrated effort to not roll over his top hand when he is swinging. so maybe a mechanic fix not a streak.

What does "figured it out" mean though exactly? He's obviously not going to continue OPSing 1.986 forever. If he can still get hot, isn't that what matters? If he has let's say 7-10 game stretches like this one four to six times a year, my guess is he'll be an .850-.900 OPS player over 162, because he will continue drawing walks because of his good eye and the fact that people know he could bust out an 8 for 12 series with 3HRs and 20TB against them at any time.
