5 more days of ball to close out august, and then a brutal September run of 29 games in 27 days, including 4 doubleheaders.

This next month is gonna be fast. In Roman Quinn I trust

I was wondering about Bryson Stott the other day and low and behold Brookover wrote an article about him.

Whether he’s a player seems like a pretty key question along with all the other questions with the infield. If they think he’s a starting SS at some point next year maybe they let Didi walk, if he can play 2nd maybe they’re more aggressive with dumping segura or moving Bohm to first. If he’s a bust then I don’t know where the cheap middle infield help is coming from anytime soon.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Dodgers sweep the Gabes so Phillies are in the last playoff spot if the season ended right now (who knows)

I know the Phils have weaknesses but even so I feel like there’s enough talent and experience that they should be an above .500 squad. Is it really all about the bullpen? Bad luck? It’s harder here in Cali do be as close to it. Do many of you expect a surge in the final month?

Its the bullpen. A competent bullpen and they'd probably be about 16-10

#4 and #5 starters haven't been great either.

Steaks saying Phillies are telling teams they are in it and they are trying to add before the deadline Monday.

Of course.. they make the playoffs if season ended today. Klentak can't pack it in now.

Do we get any compensation if Jake leaves via Free Agency?

Wouldn’t we have to offer the QO to get compensation? We probably don’t wanna do that

I’ve seen some tweets saying there aren’t even QO’s this offseason. Not sure if that’s true.

Yeah I couldn’t find anything confirming that one way or the other either, but even if there is, I don’t think we can give him a QO since the cubs did. Isn’t that a new rule that a guy can’t be QO’d twice?

Hi PtK. Glad you're alive.

the bullpen is literally historically bad and it's getting exacerbated by the shortened season. however, the phils while scoring runs have also failed to capitalize on extending leads when presented the opportunities too.

bryce and jt are both having borderline mvp level seasons, rhys isnt as bad as last year but not as good as the year before. jean and cutch are alright but not great imho (can definitely see mccutcheon's age and injury recovery), didi is playing pretty dang well and a lot of us want him back. kingery has started....cold. quinn's didn't go on the dl yet so there's that.

bench has been pretty good between goose and even knapp and hasely. starters pretty alright so far even jake.
Not everything I think is something I should say.
