Obviously there are a lot of things crappy about 2020, and even baseball in 2020, and certainly one of those is not being able to see how prospects like Moniak would have developed this year.

There was a lot of buzz Sunday about the Phils being one of the teams involved in talks with Milwaukee for All-Star lefty reliever Josh Hader, who still has three more years of team control after this season. The price on Hader would be very, very high. That name, along with others, could be worth watching.

Assuming by a lot of buzz jim is referring to my post.

don't think the phils have what it takes to get it done anyway, but why are the brewers looking to move him?

What was also crappy was the way he "developed" in 2019 and before.

Your second-place Phillies, at least for now.

They really need to add someone who can step in and start games if needed. They’re one injury from serious trouble.

I'd wish they sell, tbh. It's a good sellers market and they need to build up their farm.

The only players that would return anything of remote value would be JT and Didi. I'm not sure how it helps you to trade Realmuto, which at that point would end the likelihood of him staying here.

I don't see trading JT as a big obstacle to signing him. Not that the Phillies would do it if they still intend to bring him back.

I sort of agree. Not sure there's much to trade with any value. If they did I'd want them to target low level players and hope for development. Anyone in the upper minors they could get is unlikely to contribute.

How often has this ever happened? I'd imagine JT would feel slighted about it, as most would
