Are Not* still have some Sixers rage I guess.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

MoBettle has been exposed as a Mets fan. I think we’ve all had our suspicions for a while now.

He's 27 years old with 400 innings with a 5.50 era. He's been quite bad.

No offense, but J.P. Crawford would be 12th on the Phillies in OPS.

He just meant that JPC is still cleaning up the yard after all those storms.

yeah, really. even if Crawford does manage to rise to major league average and Segura to sink there I would put that in the column listed above as good ideas that didn't pan out. It was a chance to go from average at best at a position to above average, and my theory is you need a good number of above average players to win.

I'm not going to look at the numbers and just go with my "gut" but it *feels* like Segura was hitting everything when he got here, then got hurt and as soon as he came back off IL had like a weird head injury in his first game back and hasn't really been the same since

It's a good narrative. Not actually what happened (other than him getting off to a good start), but it has a good structure and character development to it, so we'll just keep it where it is.

That's at least approaching an MLB pen?

Was this so hard?

If Robertson and Ranger come back in 2 weeks I think they actually have a pretty good bullpen (after almost 100% turnover from the start of the season)

The end of the season would be quickly approaching at that point. We'd need to make the playoffs for those guys to be of any use.

If they can pitch the last two weeks of the season, that's 25% of the schedule. I wouldn't turn anyone away who could help us.

Finally got Workman after he got away 13 years ago. Lots of consternation over the wasted pick after we picked him in the 3rd and didn’t sign him.

I'm thinking they'll need some time to be really back, but yeh, maybe they'll be an improvement over this insanity
