All for bringing Dickerson back but having Cutch try to play CF coming off an ACL when he already had been moved to a corner for defensive reasons seems unwise.

Remember when we were worried about what to do with all of our CF prospects? Me neither.

Inquirer article on Phillies' recent international signing history.

tl;dr: it's pretty bad but we're working on it and boy oh boy you should have seen how bad it was before.

YES!

Well obviously it depends on the ask, but he'd be a great guy to take a flyer on. Anyone other than Bohm/Howard. Id consider Cole, Gray and Chloe a successful offseason.

It's crazy how slow the offseason is now. We traded for Billy Wagner on November 3rd and Brad Lidge on November 7th. How times have changed..

I think it's kinda killed the whole news cycle. The deadline to adjust the 40 man for the Rule 5 draft is tomorrow and it's nearly silent. I guess some of that is there's not much for the Phillies to decide here.

In the good ol' day we had trades and FA signings already which gave teams more roster moves to make.

Added to the 40-man roster before the Rule 5 draft:

Romero
Llovera
Cleavinger
AA LHP Cristopher Sanchez (acquired from Tampa Bay for GCL 2B Curtis Mead)

1 spot still open on the roster

Joel Sherman offered two really bad trade ideas on MLBN today:

1) David Price for Segura + 2 prospects*

2) Bryant and Heyward for Segura + Bruce + 3 prospects*

* no Bohm or Howard in either deal

...then the Phils would sign Gregorius to replace Segura

I wouldn't be shocked if we traded for Kris Bryant... another star, need position, Bryce buddy... thought Bohm would be headed to the Cubs though

If you could somehow get Bryant and it doesn't cost you Bohm or Howard, I think that's a trade you'd really have to investigate. I'd assume that would mean Stott going to the Cubs as the top prospect in that deal, and while I'd definitely prefer to hold onto Stott, I think I'd be inclined to move him for Bryant.
