1. can somebody try to sell him to me?
2. can that same somebody sell philadelphia to him that very same way?

i just don't see much of a connection either way, don't understand the talk about him.

Assuming we’re moving on from Franco and Cesar we potentially have one or two openings in the infield, depending upon where they want to play Kingery and how long it takes for Bohm to get to the majors. If you can get him at a decent price coming off his injured, down season, you could do a lot worse than Didi. His 17 & 18 seasons were pretty damn good at 4.1 and 4.7 WAR and from 15-18 he averaged about 3.5 wins. If Girardi likes him he’s kind of the perfect buy-low candidate who could end up being an impact player.

Phillies announce they’ve declined the 2020 options for Pat Neshek, Jared Hughes, and Jason Vargas.

Jerad Eickhoff, Blake Parker, Mike Morin, Phil Gosselin, Edubray Ramos have elected free agency after being outrighted.

The 40-man roster is now at 35.

Hoping it points to a big off-season.

Same but with Eickhoff. Always thought he'd be a decently reliable back of the rotation guy but seemed like he could never stay healthy long enough.

Making room in the pen for all of our failed starters.

My bold offseason prediction is that we sign Cole and trade Bohm+prospects (not Howard) for another solid SP.

The Phils are in win-now mode and we have 2 gaping holes in the rotation. Unless we add 2 stud SP's this off-season, we're not making the playoffs, again.

I can only see a Bohm trade if they sign Rendon.

Are we able to pay Rhys, JT, Cole, Rendon, and another top end starter? Is this Monopoly money at this point?

Not without repeatedly paying luxury tax penalties.

Just shows how tough it is to put together a good team without developing some top prospects.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.
