Holy crap! I was reading some of those threads earlier, and it's quite a mess. Some great detective work by those involved, however, props to them. If the President of AP is that stupid, well, he deserves whatever he gets. (if anything besides losing his customers?) Could the culprits even be prosecuted for anything? Is it some form of international electronic fraud or something... seems like the laws aren't so cut and dry when it comes to online poker sites, offshore companies, etc.

the AP cheating story made it to the front page of digg

2+2 forums are exploding with new visitors- was kind of exciting watching these guys break open a big story.

(new developments as well, more AP high ranking employees are getting implicated)

LOL

I think someone figured out with all of his hands that he was playing with a standard deviation of 15 times above the norm- in other words, it was if he won a one in a million lottery SIX times in a row.

I told someone who plays a lot on AP about this and he shrugged it off with 'well why am I up money'. I don't think he understood...

LOL

AP now admitting security breach but claims it's an employee trying to demonstrate a security breach. HA!

if that were true then...

why dump chips to other accounts?

why "frame" Scott Tom?

why do it much more than once?

i "won" last night...i put that in quotes because dave and i even chopped. when we got heads up, i had about 70% of the chips to start and he asked for an even chop, i offered what was roughly a chip chop and he refused, so we played for a while. it took forever because there's no point bluffing dave and i was just waiting to make at least 1 pair and then value bet the crap out of it, but i wasn't catching much. i won most of the pots that i raised preflop but he didn't fold very many times preflop until 20k/40k. then after i lost a few tough pots when i was outkicked or i had a strong pair to his bizarrely played 2 pair, he had probably about a 60-40 advantage and i offered an even chop, which he took. we then played 1 hand that where we both went all in blind to determine who would officially get 1st place and the largely meaningless points, which i won.

fun night all in all, but very intense and a lot of people yelling at each other, moreso than normal.

congrats TRT on winning the "regular season" championship.
