It's more about a healthy diet than anything. Sixers definitely would benefit with all the guys that have been sick with the shits.

Pretty sure that the Sixers have a cafeteria that serves healthy meals (specific to each player) breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks daily.

Yeah but you have to eat there, I am talking about a home personal chef for each player. No more Chic Fil A runs. Hell let them travel on the road with the teams.

Unless the chef is going to physically prevent the athlete from taking the Chic Fil A run, I don't see what good it would do.

I would guess the real problem isn't what the players eat at home, it's what they eat on the road.

Players would obviously have the ability to opt out of it, but I am sure a team could come up with incentives for them to follow the Chef's meal plan. Giving the option to players would probably be a cool selling point and for any team even it somehow yields one more win it is probably worth it.

Ramos looks to run about 325. That will probably help keep him on the field.

Added Jessica Mendoza to their front office. She’ll still do Sunday night baseball.

Makes sense since the Mets are rarely on Sunday Night baseball. No conflict there for her.

some great METS stuff lately.

- team is going to syracuse for a work out for some reason. nobody on the team has any desire to do so. syndergaard hasn't held back. now their flight has been delayed 3.5 hours, further infuriating everyone.

-mesoraco isn't making the team and expected to be released. team wouldn't release him to pursue other opportunities and sent him to aaa. he says he'll retire instead.

That's pretty dumb. Big part of getting through a long season is limiting the bs.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Mets will have their best pitchers all get injured. :spam2:
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

@Ken_Rosenthal: DeGrom five-year, $137.5M deal with #Mets includes full no-trade clause, sources tell The Athletic. Gets opt-out after ‘22, same as Sale, even though he is a year further from free agency. Will earn $107M between now and opt-out, Sale, $105M.

This feels weirdly not disastrous

Why Syracuse? Makes no sense other than it's the Mets doing dumb things.

Their AAA team moved there, this is their first year in Syracuse. So the big club is going there to drum up interest for them. The Phillies have done similar things with the iron pigs and even played a game against them in LHV a few years ago.

Ok I guess but Syracuse in March. Can see why the players would hate it.

Well, they're inside the Dome. Maybe they'll even open up the Sbarro's so they don't have to wander outside.
