#Mets have indeed talked to #Marlins about Realmuto and are seriously considering Nimmo as a centerpiece. Nothing is considered imminent as Miami has suitors for Realmuto.

According to a source #Marlins would not have interest in a #Mets Nimmo for Realmuto trade…they would need either Amed Rosario or Michael Conforto to start

I don’t know. The first was run extraordinarily well, except that it totally blew up the budget - not exactly the Mets problem.

The second was also well-run, but evil. The Mets would need to be significantly more competent to qualify as evil.

Mets sought Fernando Tatis Jr. in Syndergaard talks with the Padres. That seems to have ended those talks.

It's crazy because I saw someone suggest why don't MLB or other pro sports teams hire personal chefs for their players. It would costs millions of dollars but the results of just adding a win or two would exceed the cost.

It's more about a healthy diet than anything. Sixers definitely would benefit with all the guys that have been sick with the shits.

Pretty sure that the Sixers have a cafeteria that serves healthy meals (specific to each player) breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks daily.

Yeah but you have to eat there, I am talking about a home personal chef for each player. No more Chic Fil A runs. Hell let them travel on the road with the teams.

Unless the chef is going to physically prevent the athlete from taking the Chic Fil A run, I don't see what good it would do.

I would guess the real problem isn't what the players eat at home, it's what they eat on the road.
