I think they trade the 10th pick anyway, but Brown at 10 when he looks like he will be a project doesn't make sense and don't think he can help the team for a few years where they need it. Trying to maximize the Embiid years and not take guys that are going to take a few years before they can help.

If we somehow land LeBron and you have Fultz and Simmons a guy like Bridges will help you right away more than Brown imo. Sure in a few years Brown could be a better player if he develops his shot.

I barely watch college basketball so all of this draft talk beyond the top 3 picks is always Greek to me.

where's napalm to translate?

In the post super bowl Bill Simmons podcast, which is the only one i've listened to, he said if Philly fans get too cocky about the SB, the way he'd get back at them is to either talk about Fultz being a bust or to start a QB controversy with Foles/Wentz. So he admits he's just a huge troll.

Brown at 10 would be a HUGE reach. Way bigger than Smith at 10 (and Smith also has shot development concerns).

There are definitely players I like at 10, but am really just starting to hope it’s moved for Kawhi (assuming he doesn’t want $219 million) or as part of a package to get even higher up

I've seen Mocks where Brown is available at 26. Any thoughts on Knox? Think I may prefer him to Brown.

According to Bodner, one of the more sophisticated sites that looks at each shot attempted, who attempted it, how closely they were guarded, and how quickly it was released and uses that info to project shooting percentage and final score had us winning all five games, two in blowouts. So we shot poorly even given how we were defended.

I like reading these posts, because they confirm what I want to believe... that we're already close.

Brown played the enitre year at 18. Was the back up point guard. Shot FT's well enough. His shooting form looks good(it's been tweaked). Can defend multiple positions. Not the most athletic guy but would fit great in our system.

To me this is the type of guy who goes late in the draft and people scratch their heads and wonder why. Took on huge responsibility at a young age and has good playmaking ability

CBS Mock Draft has Sixers taking two Nova players with Bridges at 10 and Brunson at 26...

Didn't think Brunson would still be there, but I would be ok with those picks

This is perhaps the stupidest thing I've ever read:

The Sixers Trade Markelle Fultz and Dario Saric to the Bucks for Delly and a 2018 First-Round Pick
https://www.theringer.com/nba/2018/5/23 ... -scenarios

The Sixers are gonna trade last year's first overall pick, a very good young player, AND take on a terrible contract for the 17th pick in the draft???

I don’t mind the next part about trading up for Doncic though. And apparently NBA trade rumors: Grizzlies willing to trade the No. 4 pick

It would make a lot of sense for the Grizzlies to trade the No. 4 pick in exchange for a pick in the 8 to 12 range plus a veteran player or another later or future pick. They’d still be able to draft a solid wing player like Mikal Bridges or Miles Bridges and would net another asset from the trade.

If Doncic slides, I’m jumping on that.

I don't know, the Lebron-could-go-to-Boston-to-push-Kyrie-out idea is pretty solid next-level trolling
