Trade charts in the NBA don't really work because there's so much more variance year to year than football. Some drafts people think there are 2 awesome guys other years there are 10.

I want to trade 10 as part of a Kawhi package and then I want Khyri Thomas at 26 or wherever you’d have to trade up to get him with those extra 2nds

I think the only way that trade makes any sort of sense is conditional on two things.

1) A Kawhi extension. You just can't give up that kind of depth without a guarantee Kawhi's staying. You're in too good a position right now to make that kind of home run swing.
2) Lebron's coming. The only thing that cushions the blow on that sort of trade is that you still have your max cap space, which you would then have to use immediately, because any new Kawhi deal would soak up that space. It would have to be contingent on the idea that you're building an absolute super team of a starting lineup.

Even with those two things, it's still a massive overpay for a pending UFA who barely played this year due to an injury situation that is far from resolved. That's two starters, the #1 overall pick in the draft 11 months ago, another lottery pick and more assets. That's a desperation trade, and the Sixers are not desperate right now.

O'Connor's pitch was that in that scenario, Redick comes back for nothing (probably the room exception) to play with that group, which may be true, but is still hardly a given.

Whomever is today's veteran equivalent of Ray Allen, Juwan Howard, etc will come here to play for the minimum to win a title.... that said I think Dario is severely underrated... he's been in the league for 2 years and a lot of nights puts up All Star numbers... trade Fultz, Covington, TLC, Holmes, Furkan, whatever picks... find a way to keep Dario

Yeh, I wouldn't trade that much. Let's not forget that Imbiid is just one healthy year removed from us wondering if he would ever be healthy. We need depth with this team and Dario should not be part of any trade like that, imo. We're built for the future... let's not blow that.
