I don't agree that he fits a need though. They need a wing that can handle the ball and create a shot.

positives = strong, high energy, dunker, rebounder, blocks shots, good passer, draws fouls
negatives = classic "tweener", too small for PF, doesn't shoot good enough from the perimeter for SF, rarely shoots twos outside the paint area
Villanova Bridges (Mikal, junior, 6'7" 210 SF/SG, 22 in late August):
positives = NBA-ready "3-and-D", great length and athleticism, champion, Philly
negatives = lack of strength, doesn't attack the rim

If they lose both jj and belli I think nova bridges def fills a need, though agree that they also need more shot creation

Yeah was working under the assumption that he would replace Belly/Irsan

Not an ersan replacement as bridges is only a 2/3 positionally

If they want to take it to the next level they desperately need a wing to be able to handle the ball, drive and hit some shots so we don't get suffocated at the arc again. Bridges isn't going to solve that issue for us. He's not a needle mover on this team IMO

There's shooting but as we saw against the Celtics a lot of that shooting gets exposed in isolation on the other end. Bridges gives you a guy that can shoot and also compete athletically.
Isolation scoring is incredibly value but I'm not sure if you can expect anyone at 10 to come in and provide that at an elite level. Mitchell is a rare case.
