i saw this mentioned a few times, but i don't think rupp was even talking about the bat flips.

I'm firmly Team Odubel here but if Rupp is flipping his bat there I do not know what constitutes appropriate behavior after a home run

Exactly... dude calling him out on it is nuts.

Haven't had a chance to look at Franco's hit chart. Is he hitting balls in the same areas a lot? If so, that might explain the consistently low BABIP.

Doesn't look noticeably different. He seems to be hitting more line-drives with offspeed pitches (slightly offset by breaking balls being down in July).

Thanks. Maybe he's just staying back better. I was wondering if he's just easy to defense, like Howard was.

If I'm Middleton, I have to bring klentak into the office and have him explain what the ROI was for this past offseason moves. Just off the top of my head, I would say 40+ million netted a 102 loss team, a couple of ok prospects, three kinda meh, all far a way, and hopefully that international money comes up huge... cause that ain't too good.

Reportedly it was the owners who made him spend money.

Curious if they are going to have the same reaction I had when I gave an ex three hundred to mess around in the casino for the night to only come back 30 minutes later with no money and asking for ten dollars so she could slowly eat food at the Panda Express for the next three hours.

If anyone spots Klentak at a local Panda Express we'll know your analogy was spot on.
