Why are people saying that nothing good will happen before 2016 and we can't compete til past then? Define compete?

2014-2015 is another funky year. Another lottery pick most likely.

But by 2015-2016 why can't this team win 41-43 games?

By 2016-2017 why can't they win ~50 ?

That's this year, following year, and year after -- 3 years - not 5-7.

All we need is for Noel and Joel to be healthy and playing together the year after this - in the meantime - lots of surprises could occur. Another draft, and tons of FA.

I have no problem with waiting 3-4-5 years to compete. By then, Kobe is out of the league, Lebron and Carmelo fading away - Garnett is retired Duncan is retired Dirk is retired - on and on. Perfect time to take over and dominate with our 7 footers and the "Hinkie Band"

And even if it really is 5 years. So what? I've waited 13 since AI and Mutumbo and 18 years prior to that... what's 5-6 now, if it means 3 rings later or 5 in 10 years at some starting point down the line.

I thought the announcers were using some cliche when they kept saying they get a point for winning the quarter. Guess not.

Yea there's a mini-championship at the end of this week for the two teams that have the most points. 4 pts for a win and 1 point for each quarter won (.5 to each team if both score the same)

agreed but still had 2 steals, 3 blocks and who knows how many altered shots in 22 minutes in his second game in like 16 months
