pretty sure the Bodner/Jones thing was just inclusion in an article about what we could possibly get in a Lin trade

Yeah, his Tweet just ruminated "Well, he could be available if Bosh signs there." Nothing concrete. That's why I was curious to know if there was something more.

If Noel is half as good as some of those guys on the list they'd still be twice as good as he is.

I like Jones a lot but we'd be getting pretty crowded around the 4 and have to make a long-term decision on him after Embiid's rookie year. think I might rather have Capela but I guess you could flip Jones

not sure if you guys missed it but Thad was at summer league the other day so I can only assume he's a Sixer for a life and there ain't no room in this town for the two of em

they could both stick around for the all-lefty lineup of Wroten - Delonte West (please!) - Thad - Jones - Noel

Noel is not left-handed?

This is actually an under reported story that I think goes against a lot of the general thinking when it comes to Thad and the Sixers. How many guys Thad's position (career, finances and standing) are sitting on the bench in Orlando right now? If Thad was checked out, and resigned to trade demands, what possible appeal would Orlando in July hold?

I love the guy, and think his veteran leadership would be a huge asset to the Sixers moving forward. A lot is made about his age and the fact that he needs to move onto a winner- the dude just turned 26 years old. Say the Sixers are sneaky good this year, and win 35ish games? Wouldn't Thad want to stick around, opt into his option year, and see what another year of development with the core, the addition of Embiid and an extra lottery puts them? Hinkie has gone on the record of saying what an asset and influence Thad has had on the young Sixers already- maybe that trumps whatever trade deadline pick-up Thad might be worth?

His whole family was there. Might've just wanted a trip to Disney.

So the Asik to the Pelicans deal is held up due to the salary cap coming in about $100,000 less than expected. Houston has a lot of work to do right away
