he wants to knock down office space so his successor doesn't fill it up with employees. because that's how it works.

head of Office De-Procurement. he's divesting from excess office space.

in 4 years, when he gets out of prison, he wants a terrific statehouse to be barred from.

The whole thing actually was a big league trolling of the media; that is what the whole thing at the end was about, giving himself an opportunity to rip them. He could have just let it go at the renovations announcement but he could not pass up the opportunity to make it all about himself and the media.

If there is one thing all Mericans should be able praise trump about, it's how he has treated Christie after he came out as trump's public surrogate

(Hope I didn't just jinx it)

I was sad to see that no one jumped on the suggest that Petraeus would be pre-pardoned by Trump so he could be voted on to be SoS without that cloud of improper handling hanging over him.

That one seems so insane, I will be disgusted when/if it happens. What Patreaus did makes the emails look like absolutely nothing.

I personally like Petraeus, but you cannot really sweep under the carpet what happened. Would he be eligible for a clearance? That is a legitimate question. Separating the conviction from the act, the action is still more important. Better then Rudy? Yes, he is unqualified. Better then Mitt? Maybe, maybe not (aside from Mitt being a trader to his kind by even having the discussion). Has Petraeus been a diplomat? How do you feel about your chief diplomat having been directly engaged in planning, approving and carrying out military actions? That seems like a different experience set, but again, what exposure does Mitt or Rudy really have internationally? Mitt more the Rudy, but how do any stack up against many predecessors? It seems a poor comparison end-to-end frankly.

In other news, Bob Corker is apparently meeting today, and could be a candidate. He would be the most qualified candidate to push the elevator button thus far.

Peaches is a great, smart man who is extremely competent. You need those. Too bad he messed it up.

Trump’s call to ban flag burning isn’t about patriotism. It’s about silencing dissent.

Everyone should be concerned about this.

A testy John McCain to reporters: "I will not speak about Donald Trump, and I do not want to be asked again."

The nerve of reporters asking a US Senator about the President Elect...of his own party.
