KAC claiming a historical, landslide victory for Trump in the EC. It's not even close to being that.

That kind of shit makes me pretty mad. Their lemmings will eat it up.

if you dip your toe into the tcot/alt-right/nazi sympathizer twitter you'll see they all believe that 3 million illegal Mexican immigrants voted for Hillary in Cali, and 14 million total in the country.

Price is a repeal/replace guy, believes interstate sales of individual health insurance policies will be a big winner (he should look into how that all worked out in his home state), thinks state-level "high risk pools" are just the thing for coverage of people with serious health conditions who account for disproportionate shares of total health spending (nope), and is sure medical malpractice reform is critical to bringing down health care costs (it isn't).

He's an orthopedist, a specialty that's rarely seen a patient they won't operate on.

He's old and white and male, but not billionaire-rich; progress?

EDIT: so I went to provisions of Price's Act. it provides for tax credits for qualifying buyers of individual health insurance, which of itself isn't a horrible idea.2

But here's the terms of his tax credit:

Section 101 creates a refundable income tax credit of a maximum of the lesser of either the aggregate amount of money paid in premiums in a single taxable year or the sum of the monthly limitations for months that the taxpayer or the taxpayer's qualifying members are considered eligible. The monthly limitation is one-twelfth of the sum of $2,000 ($4,000 if filing a joint tax return) and $500 per dependent. A maximum of 2 dependents can be claimed....

Let me help you with that math: $2,000/12 = $167; $2,500/12 = $208. But wait, there's more - okay, less: you qualify for the full credit if your income's under 200% of Federal Poverty Level ($23,760), and it walks down 1% for each $1k you're over that amount.

It's also includes this curious bit:

Under Section 103, individuals who are otherwise eligible for Medicare, Medicaid, a state child health insurance program (SCHIP), TRICARE, veterans' benefits, federal employee health benefits (FEHBP), or a group health plan subsidized by the employer may choose to claim the aforementioned tax credit instead of receiving any benefits under such program.

Not sure if this means you can just go ahead & cash out that sweet tax credit loot & buy hooch, or faith-based fake health insurance, or what - but it almost certainly means you can't be going & getting any cot-damn abortion with that coin, even if your doctor will do it, though Price's bill makes explicit that it's ok for the doctor to refuse to do any such thing of course.

So that bill's, uh, not gonna get 'er done.

Price is also okey dokey with voucherizing Medicare which, um, isn't popular with many people.
Yes, but in a double utley you can put your utley on top they other guy's utley, and you're the winner. (Swish)

Sat next to Trump's HHS pick Tom Price on a flight a few years ago. Seemed decent enough til he said he wasn't sure of Obama's citizenship.

Nobody should be allowed to burn the American flag - if they do, there must be consequences - perhaps loss of citizenship or year in jail!

sent at 6:55 am this morning.

i know flag burning gets conservatives upset, but was there a specific incident that was circulating on alt right propaganda sites? typically thats how it goes and typically him tweeting about it is the first i have heard of it.

Burning the flag is how you are supposed to dispose of it.

Gabe Campana, the mayor of Williamsport, is under investigation by the state AG for improper reimbursement payments. his wife put a PFA out on him back in August due to domestic violence allegations. he was re-elected to a third term just a year ago.

I hate using the flag in any form of protest. It takes "the message" and turns it into some sort of assault on the country because it is the county's fault, but my personal preferences aside, I am really much more fond of the 1st Amendment.
