he's nominating all sorts of people who are going to be enacting every Republican hobby horse and he will be dealing with a Republican-led Congress that backs him and that wants to cut Social Security and Medicare. he has a funny way of showing he's not a Republican.

what the Republican base believes in does not equal what the "traditional" conservatives believe in. Trump is a perfect GOP candidate for the base.
