Back in 2007, WWE ran a storyline that culminated with CEO Vince McMahon being blown up in a limo. You don’t need me to tell you that McMahon is still alive and was not actually blown to pieces, because you aren’t a moron who thinks wrestling is real. Apparently, the same cannot be said for our future president.

Last night, a 2008 clip from the Opie and Anthony Show began recirculating. In the clip, WWE wrestler/McMahon son-in-law Triple H briefly mentions the limo-explosion storyline, and then reveals that Donald Trump—a longtime pro wrestling performer, mind you—called McMahon’s office to find out if he had really died after the explosion aired:

There's a lot here to enjoy, so I'm going to just assume it's true

i'm going to choose to believe Mr. Triple H is a truth-teller.

I remember that storyline, too; it was almost immediately dropped right after the Benoit murders.

Bushie presented Exxon CEO Rex Tillerson as a viable candidate. Drain that swamp baby. Condi was one of the promoters. Condoleezza had that experience with Chevron prior to being National Security Advisor, then SoS. Robert Gates, Bush's SecDef is also a supporter of the candidate. Although it seems odd, it might work. I think he gets bored when he discovered how much work it is, and then goes back to making a zillion a year pretty quickly.

Also in the report it was said that Mitt was in the mix because "he looks the part." Casting couch decisions. I hope this whole episode ends Mitt's time in the spotlight as he traded in his everything even going to NYC for the discussion. Maybe it works out with his daughter-in-law, and maybe that was some secret play (cannot really say I get that either).

Looks like an episode of Celebrity Apprentice, with Bill Gates as the token white guy.

I mean, it certainly warrants coverage. It's the over coverage of such events at the expense of other stuff that's the problem

Exactly. There is so much to do and so little time to do it that even 15 minutes, with 5 minutes on either side for transition, is 25 less minutes to do something. Treating the Presidency as some type of celebrity status trade is just the next mind boggling thing.

What was the right move? Kanye calls Trump number and gets him, asks to come hang out to get him back in the news cycle (Kim showed up in some internet something half naked a day or two ago so the 'look at me' meter must be pointing toward 1/4 left in the tank), and Donald says, 'hey, look, I enjoyed the sex tape she put out, and your goofy concept art with me and TaeTae was something else, but really, we have a shit ton of stuff to do. Why don't you book a room at the Trump OPO Hotel and bring the show (circus) to DC in the spring.'

DOE just says no!

"Our career workforce, including our contractors and employees at our labs, comprise the backbone of (the Energy Department) and the important work our department does to benefit the American people," Burnham-Snyder said.

"We are going to respect the professional and scientific integrity and independence of our employees at our labs and across our department," he added. "We will be forthcoming with all publicly available information with the transition team. We will not be providing any individual names to the transition team."

"This feels like the first draft of an eventual political enemies list," a Department of Energy employee, who asked not to be identified because he feared a reprisal by the Trump transition team, had told Reuters.

In a series of email exchanges, Mr. Assange refused to say anything about WikiLeaks’ source for the hacked material. He denied that he had made his animus toward Mrs. Clinton clear in public statements (“False. But what is this? Junior high?”) or that the site had timed the releases for maximum negative effect on her campaign. “WikiLeaks makes its decisions based on newsworthiness, including for its recent epic scoops,” he wrote.

Mr. Assange disputed the conclusion of the Oct. 7 statement from the intelligence agencies that the leaks were “intended to interfere with the U.S. election process.”

“This is false,” he wrote. “As the disclosing party we know that this was not the intent. Publishers publishing newsworthy information during an election is part of a free election.”

But asked whether he believed the leaks were one reason for Mr. Trump’s election, Mr. Assange seemed happy to take credit. “Americans extensively engaged with our publications,” he wrote. “According to Facebook statistics WikiLeaks was the most referenced political topic during October.”

They are also compiling an enemy list at the EPA.

Legit lol. I think the epa's task is a lot easier though, they just have to look at anyone put up by the incoming Administration to head there agency.
