McConnell already stated it's not. It's simply market forces at work. It's not a good thing that he fed people this line. Sigh.

Coal suffered a true capitalistic demise. just so insane and irresponsible. 90% sure he won the election based on that statement alone.
That plus manufacturing as a whole coming back. It'll be interesting to see when shit hits the fan on those promises.

I loved Obama's speech in Greece today. Greece will play an important role if more countries in the EU see a rise of nationalists in govt.

There aren't many in non-national roles. State parties are decimated.

They have potential but up until now none of them besides I guess booker have been given any sort of national stage or big role to play.
Two days later I get a text back that says I'm a basketball player and a businessman, not a Thundercat.

Feel like fox would use that pic as the background as they do an "Obama is an elitist prick" bit.

Riots in Greece are no joke. I wonder what would happen if Trump visited.

I forgot that the USG is funded through December 9th. The Continuing Resolution expires then, and if I did not hear someone squawking (Mich McConnell maybe) about a priority of funding the government I would have completely forgotten. Senate can save us some money by just letting the date/deadline pass. Last time (2012 under sequestration debates) it really made a mess of the local economy, and savage some (several) families.

That crushed us here in Virginia for a bit. We're already dealing with a budget shortfall for this biennium. No more shenanigans please.

So the rumor is that Republicans are pushing for Trump to appoint Ted Cruz the new AG so they can get Cruz out of Congress and the government when Trump fires him after a few months.

If we were guaranteed that he'd be fired by July 1, I could get on board with this.

Trust me, I had a front row seat both here in NVa, and when my West Coast company decided that the East Coast had lost it marbles shutting down operations on this coast (not a hard decision considering that was just me, but is was a shock after 11 years even though I saw it coming a hundred miles away). I had a short vacation, then got to drive by oddities like the Potomac Scenic Overlooks being coned off/closed as that is Federal Park Land as I drove to my next gig.

President-elect Donald Trump’s name is being stripped off three luxury New York apartment buildings in November after hundreds of tenants signed a petition saying they were embarrassed to live in a place associated with Trump.
