Trump Tower isn't the easiest play to keep safe either.

I'm still on the fence on whether or not the Clinton campaign was bad or not. My opinion is obviously result oriented, because if she had one I don't think anyone would have batted an eye at seeming disregard of the working class.

Obama got 57% of people making 30-50k in 2012.

Hillary got 51%.

Under 30k was 63% Obama/53% Clinton.

It was a pretty big shift.

Edit- don't have the numbers but I bet those numbers were even more pronounced in the Midwest/PA.

Exactly. That level of constant security presence in Midtown Manhattan is going to be a really expensive endeavor. If you hear anyone praising Trump for refusing to take a salary, remind them of that.

Not jumped in much as well I'm not a big politics guy unless something monumentally stupid happens (Brexit and Trump in the same year FUCK!), but having read the last few threads, the bit that should scare you guys most is that Trump is the type to not bother after a few days/weeks/months and then delegate all the important stuff to the fuckwits he's brought into his cabinet and spend his time going after anyone he thinks has slighted him.

Listening to the Keepin' it 1600 podcast made an obvious point that only a few Republicans need to defect to keep some of the more controversial Cabinet nominations away. This gives me some hope, because if Trump is defeated even once on a nomination, I could see him blowing up on the defectors. This could open the door to a bipartisan effort to curb any of the insanity.

This is, of course, considering that:
A) Trump nominates someone blatantly awful (seems likely),
B) 3-4 GOP Senators have the spine to oppose him (unsure, but a man can hope), and
C) Trump throws a tantrum about it (also seems likely).

Rand Paul voiced displeasure with either Bolton or Giuliani as SoS. McCain voiced concern regarding Russia reset (he disliked Clinton's reset attempt, too). It's possible.

They are. The defection is highest in areas where automation is a threat.

It's especially amazing considering he ran on claims of TERRIFIC STAMINA and how he doesn't sleep and would be available for those 3am calls.

I mean, yes, in this day and age you don't have to be in one particular place to do that type of job, but there are a number of considerations, not the least of which would be the insanely increased costs for Secret Service protection in NYC for a significant chunk of the year.

Imagine... if we had told Trump he couldn't be President while working from home, he may not have run.

I thought we attacked him on everything. We forgot to mention to him he may have to work.

The margins for her losses in Pa, MI and WI keep going down as they count provisional ballots. 14k in MI and 20k in Wi. Turnout is over 129 mil now.

She's up a million votes now officially. Lots more to count. More than 2012.

yea, so all the hair-tearing about the big strategic shifts Ds "need" to make is bullshit.

1,001 agonizingly minor technical shifts, any combination of which might have pushed the EV counts the "right" way, & none of which it means shit to identify today, and HRC is prez.

How much of the vote is left in some of these states? I know CA and Washington have a ton. She may end up several million more up in the pop vote. Brutal shit.
