So when he finally steps aside, assuming he does, I guess Bush or Rubio or Cruz gets to step in and seem reasonable, even though they're not.

the best part about North Korea is the fact that the average male has gone from being 5'9" to 5'3" over the last 30 years due to the chronic malnutrition in the country.

1/2 a foot in 30 years? Extraordinary

Anyway, if the Turnip is elevated to the Presidency - particularly of the US, but even of N.Korea, he shouldn't run a broom closet much less any country on planet earth - I give General Gut my proxy to undertake a military coup

Feel ya.

Back when Florio was NJ gov, he popped in at our board meeting. We all hated him because he was ruinous to the insurance industry, but everyone there (older and smarter than me at the time) stood up and then applauded.

I was furious. I stood, out of peer pressure, but no damn clapping from me.

But today I try to muster respect for the office if not the officeholder, despite the policy differences.

The place is a real scheiss-hole.

The south is pretty rocking and the north is worse than East Germany.

We really won that Cold War. We should celebrate. We should replace Columbo day with "We Won the goddam Cold War, Dudes Day." We could celebrate by tearing down Trump's beautiful fence.
Teams lie, sometimes for good reasons, sometimes for bad. They do it to get an advantage while they look at the trade market or just because they can

I saw that Chris Christie defended him, saying he was a nice guy and that he had apologized for his remarks.

Interesting watching Christie's race to the bottom.

Listened to what he had to say: was unimpressed. I enjoyed him roasting Sanders a few times, but other than that it was the same GOP talking points that guys like Bush (both), Rubio, Romney, etc have used for over a decade.

His big talking point is that he's experienced while the others leading the polls all have a short or non-existent track record in government. The problem for me is that nothing's gotten done with the establishment GOP guys. Trump's ridiculous, but he's also tapped into a large segment of the country that's tired of political correctness and bending over backwards for everyone.

Santorum won't get my vote when I caucus in a few weeks: it's down to Paul or Cruz for me.

yeah, Trump is clearly the White nationalist candidate. to cloak it in being tired of PC is disingenuous at best. the Republican party is the big umbrella party - stupid, racist idiots of all stupid, racist backgrounds welcome.

I think we all need to recognize that political correctness will be the downfall of western civilization if people like Trump don't stand up against the tyranny of trying to be nice to each other.

There are like 50 serious problems to address and that's the right's cause du jour. Ridiculous.
