American citizens have been radicalized. This isn't much of a reason to bar tens of thousands of other people from coming into the country try. We used to let in millions.

Yeah, but the Muslims in New Jersey were cheering on 9/11 per "sources".

Some immigrants have done dastardly things. So have citizens. So have refugees (those darn Cubans for instance). That's not how you set policy.

I was simply saying that Americans have been radicalized; just like the European citizens who did the Paris attack.

you're saying weird things like "you can't base policy based on a few bad eggs". why? that has nothing to do with the discussion

Because that's not how any policy is done. That's stupid. We've had a refugee system for decades. I don't know why two guys are getting you all hyped but I really don't care if you want my answer. It's such a small amount that it's immaterial to letting in impoverished people and helping them as is our duty as an incredibly wealthy nation.

i wasn't hyped. i asked a question, and didn't get an answer but got weird responses, none that had anything to do with the question. it's interesting to me as someone that supports refugees coming in because i'd be interested to know if the 18-24 month thing was in response to instances like this

Me: I don't think there's been enough chatter about this. We're there different restrictions then?
SK: so 2 people out of the hundreds of thousands we took in over the last decade?
Me: really doesn't answer my question
SK: neither does that

Lol. Neither does that.
