I of course don't get to live in Philly, but a friend whose opinions I generally value and trust is supporting Jim Kenney.

Wily old Rudy Giuliani, co-opting the Donald Trump role for the 2016 POTUS campaign. The man would be merely an embarrassing fool if he weren't such a pathetic wretch. If Walker was a more adept politician he would have disowned the guy on the spot. I suppose he can be forgiven for not anticipating that his version of McCain's crackpot lady would be a former mayor of New fucking York City

Scott Walker is skipping a debt payment because he can't pay his debts and have a balanced budget at the same time. The reason? He cut taxes and doesn't have enough revenue to make up for the cuts. This will create higher future payments, but he won't have to be governor by then.

the free speech of uber rich people is more important than the free speech of you and me. they get more of it, deservedly so. money is, after all, free speech and we sure wouldn't want to limit freedom.

Man, I've made one post about Christie's corruption and one about his unpopularity and jh did not reply to either. Either he blocked me or Christie is really losing his core constituency.
