Tonight I was at our local high school's National Honor Society Induction. We had two kids from the congregation being inducted, joining two who are already members.
After they are pinned, each student was asked to give a brief speech about a person who has greatly influenced them and given them an example of leadership and character.

The students are talking about coaches, band directors, grandparents, and neighbors.

Then one of the students says, "It was easy for me to pick Pastor Brian Beissel."
Mind blown. I didn't hear the rest of what she said. Tears were flowing. In this life of ministry, you don't often get that kind of validation. Honestly, I feel unworthy of her words. My head is still spinning.

Who knows. On further inspection I pried the plate off and the switch was on heat and auto. Girl that lived here last year came back and said it was working. It's clearly not but hell if I'm taking the lead on this.
