dude on craigslist is offering a hard drive with 80,000+ MP3 songs and DJ software for $300. Says the songs are are "legal and paid for". How can I report this guy to the RIAA. One of the main reasons I got out of the DJ business.

this is interesting, bc i read that you can sell mp3s ONLY if it's on a device. So you are selling the device and leaving the songs on there. I wish i could remember where i read it bc i am about to sell my ipod

geez, the dude even has a website. the technicality of it is that you must be selling your ONLY COPY of the song and give up your "rights" to re-download the song without paying for it again.

I found a spot on the RIAA website and reported this guy.

All collections come on a 500 GB hard drive of your choice. I use different manufacturers & styles to offer the solution that suits you best.
All drives are both Mac & PC compatible as well as both USB 3.0 & 2.0 compatible. Larger capacity HDD's are available by request as well as other options such as firewire, thunderbolt,, etc.

So presumably he's selling the same collection over and over again to different people on different drives.
